Thank you edinburger, and all the WAC backers. Appreciate your kind words. This helps show that the WAC is a strong factor. Now the hard part is getting my heart rate back down.

We didn’t play well and zero PG play.
Let’s see what happens Thursday at FIU.
We looked small, bullied and helpless tonight. We'll probably hustle enough to win a game or two beyond our means, but I still don't see us taking that necessary next step as a program by continuing to play small ball. Hoping Paul can come in and dominate when he's healthy.

They got a nice notch in the belt. Of course y'all got a half-pound gold plated belt buckle.
A great night for the WAC. 7-2, won every game we were "supposed" to win, won or came within one point on the peer-to-peer matchups, and one major P5 upset.

Great job in the WAC guys. We ascended last year, but looks like we may be a notch or two better based on the early returns.

RE: WAC MEN'S BASKETBALL WEEK #1
Congrats to ACU on the win! I was nervous they were going to let it slip away at the end, but they held on! Great Job and Great win for the WAC! I tuned out of the Tarleton game in the 2nd half and started watching ACU. I too was curious about the OSU uniforms. I did not have the sound on in the game so I missed out on the explanation. I think our team will take a hit this year, we are badly missing Freddie Hicks already. I do not see a player on the squad that can replace him. And our "hustle" is just not there with these new players. Hopefully they will prove me wrong, but I see a slide back in our team this year.

Maybe ACU can take our Tennessee game ( Will trade whatever team your playing that day) you guys seem to do very well against Orange teams!...Even when they are disguised in Turquoise!!! You should schedule Syracuse, Miami, Clemson, Tennessee and Oregon State in the future!

The question is can ACU do it twice in a row against NC State?

This thread is a great example of what is wrong with "mid-major" fan bases and why I hate the term mid-major.
Oklahoma St was picked 10th in the Big 12. Beating Oral Roberts or Southeast Missouri State should garner better recognition as those were tourney teams laste year. ORU was picked to win it all again.
But OSU is a DI PLUS school and WAC is DI relegation, so that win gets the attention. Good win, a necessary in the elevation of the conference, but maybe the WAC is at a point where it should win those types of games.

[Suddenly everyone stops smiling and stands at attention as 1st Lieutenant UTASportscaster enters the room.] Yes, sir, of course you are correct. Oklahoma State was not really that good, and losing to ACU is part of the evidence. ORU and SEMO went to the NCAA. Oral Roberts and Oklahoma State ended last season at roughly the same net ranking, and far above any WAC schools.
But come on, Lieutenant, the average guy-in-bar is going to be impressed by beating Ok St, but may not even know what the abbreviations ORU and SEMO stand for. And even UTRGV has beaten SEMO, which came in around #240 last year. I concede ORU was a very good win but GCU was a heavy favorite over SEMO.
