If they gave up that's terrible coaching. I'm going to go with they just played poorly and got beat. They were still fighting for the East much like us, so that's a bad excuse.

It may be that they are just beat up.
In their first 5 games, Marshall dominated in statistics, including in the loss to NC State, whom they out gained, had more first downs, and dominated TOP.
That had to be an emotional result.

Since that game Marshall has not won the final score, or total yards, or 1st downs, or TOP.
It is not that they lost, because Ga St, JMU, and CCU are all very good teams, it is the lopsideness of the losses, especially to JMU and CCU.

You’re not wrong but it happens. I don’t know what’s going on in Huntington but they haven’t looked great the past 3 weeks. CCU, JMU & GSU all have good teams so just losing doesn’t mean much but the fight they put up looked weak. It’s not that they don’t have talent. Not saying that to take away from CCU’s win, yall looked impressive in what I watched but I agree with 78 that they seem to have regressed

I think the NCST game beat them up pretty good and they haven’t been able to get healthy.

Looks like that Vasko kid we offered who got enrolled at Kansas found his way to Coastal. I guess you guys won't be needing his services with Guest looking good in the absence of McCall. Just finished rewatching the Marshall game of yours and I believe this game will be a high scoring affair. That teal turf is hard on the eyes on TV but better in person.
