Good picking this season overall, the winning score was at least 9 in five of the last six weeks with 10 being required to win Week 4. No week this season could you win with fewer than 8 right. There were two weeks last season where the winning score was SIX. Last season's Week 10 was really brutal. Only two people even got 6! (https://csnbbs.com/thread-958516.html). One of the reasons was Alabama at LSU, everyone picked Alabama to win. Hopefully we do better this Week 10.

Teams chosen this year.

I have not been a Big 10 homer this year. Of the five P5 conferences, I have picked Big 10 teams the least, just 27 times. I've picked the SEC the most, 41 times, with the ACC the second most with 37, Pac 12 30, Big 12 29.

Among G5's, I've picked the MWC the most, 13 times, MAC 6, AAC and Sun B 5, C-USA just 1 (Texas El Paso, at Northwestern). I've picked Notre Dame 5 times, the only independent I've chosen.

Texas A&M is the most chosen team this year, I've chosen them 6 times. I've chosen Clemson, Miami, Iowa, Notre Dame, Utah, Alabama, and Mississippi 5 times. Among non P5 teams, I've picked Fresno State four times, more than either of my alma maters, Illinois and Penn State.

Among P5 teams, I have not chosen Boston College, Wake Forest, Baylor, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Indiana, Michigan State, and most surprising of all, Michigan.

Remember I am most looking for competitive matchups, Michigan hasn't IMO had a competitive matchup all season. It's a given that I will be picking their games with Penn State and Ohio State though.

As for the others, I'd have to find a competitive and/or noteworthy matchup and I find it pointless to pick a game involving two sub .500 teams this late in the season unless there's some storyline attached to it.

Almost missed it this week. Yes, I picked Georgia last week because I figured the joy of the Gators winning would overcome the disappointment of picking against them. I forget exactly what my home-field advantage is, but my computer has 2-6, 0-5 Arkansas as half-point favorites in the Swamp. Napier seemed like a nice guy; don't know what the issue was with Mullen but he got us to the NY6 three straight years.
