I think that Oklahoma State's coach is finally getting things done, they have good defense. The coach was saying last night that he can't figure out this playoff thing, he said "the only thing I know we're still in it, and we have to get this one."

He said they have to function more efficiently.

And he thinks if they're going to do it, they have to do it passing. He put a lot of pressure on his wide receivers. He said if we're going to beat the Bearcats, our wide receivers have to have a big day today.

I think the Bearcats will approach this game frustrated. I think the coach thinks his team is better than the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and the thing he wants to do it just get a win. He wants to get back to playing Bearcat football. That means attack. Attack on offense. Attack on defense.

But the big thing is with his quarterback, he wants to make sure they know where the best defensive players are, and get them blocked.

Seems on point. Hopefully it's all celebration post-game:

Our LB play was horrendous on that drive...cheery on top was just having one fall down in coverage

Bet UC goes 64 yards, takes about 5 minutes, and comes away with 0 points.

Time to ditch the special teams/db coach. Whatever he brings to recruiting these days can’t counter the pitiful job he’s doing those position groups.

If he had at least "played the ball" and not the receiver, that would have been great coverage...

I started late. Just in time to see UC make a great open field tackle on third down get called a horse collar. Next play touchdown.

Then UC march down the field, "take the points" (still the dumbest expression ever since college kickers miss all the time) as many have called for and doink it.

Been that kind of season.
