I was looking forward to playing them last year so we could go into the annual "See we don't have the worst baseball stadium in the league" debate again. But oh well.

I like Marshall's schedule. They don't play a whole lot of tough games early, and that will give a team that really struggled last year a little confidence. Nice job of getting home and homes with other schools.

And, I don't know if, or when I'll ever see the stadium, but kudos for making the step and realizing this is a top five baseball conference and you better step up. Good for Marshall.

Purinton got thrown a bunch of baseball stuff on him since the last 2 AD's feigned indifference to the sport, and now he has to figure out how to get it through a donor base that doesn't care about baseball.

You'll get to see all the improvements we've done since last fall when you guys come in to open league play (Hint: We haven't done anything)

We don't have a cool graphic calendar yet but here's our schedule. The thing that pops out to me is that we have 19 of our first 21 games at home and 36 total home games. Wow!

I told you 2 years ago we were committed and got a lot of flack for it. Since then, we built it and got a new coach. Can't guarantee results, but the effort is there. If it takes off like soccer did, you may wish we hadn't.

Oh trust me. If you all can make this league better, I'll be all for it. I want every weekend in conference play to be intense. I'm not worried about "keeping up."
