Did you know that USF's two of USF's best three ever performances came against Memphis in the Liberty Bowl? JR Reed had 3 INTs, a kick off TD, and a fumble recovery for a TD against the Tigers in 2003. In one of the great all time performances for USF (and in college football), Quinton Flowers accounted for 473 combined rushing and passing yards with 5 total TDs in a thriller game that came down to a red zone defensive stop by a pretty poor Bulls defense.

Didn’t watch the game, but the Boneyard is up in arms about how we blew that one. Apparently we dropped passes and interceptions, lol. Not shocking, as a UConn football fan I’m used to it.

We probably weren’t making a bowl game even with the W, so I’m not mad we lost. The more teams that make a bowl in this conference, the better IMO. Especially with it being the 1st year of the new look conference.

Congrats to the Bulls. Now go get at least 2 more W’s!.

I for one hope you do. A strong USF is good for the AAC and makes both the fall and winter better.

Agree. We need all stronger programs in the AAC. The Bulls are on the way. We aren’t there yet, but as some have found out already we aren’t #13 as they expected in preseason poll.
