Uh oh,WBB
I attended the volleyball match last night and several members of the WBB team showed up,but three were using crutches. I think one of the players was the transfer from Arizona State, Brooke Blumfeld and, gulp, Chelby Koker. Hoping theyal are all ankle sprains and no ACL's. No casts were noticed.

RE: Uh oh,WBB
I have tried but failed to find a report from earlier this year that WBB was going back to the high-speed offense it had when Coach Carlsen started. I read it, so I know it's around somewhere.

That's the play style that piled up a lot of injuries, including torn ACLs, which put a lot of people -- more than usual -- on the bench. NIU then hired a temporary outside "expert" to help the team deal with the physical pressures of twists and turns. Others here may recall this.

I hope the OP does not portend a return to a season plagued with injuries. To hopefully prevent that, what has changed?
