I don't think I'll spending much time in Dlot as originally anticipated, since we'll be on the Quad all morning. Maybe I'll see some of you before or after GameDay. Plan to still bring the banner though

I'm going to the game this weekend and bringing brats. I'll be following here for any details of where to show up.

Same with our group everyone plans to get there really early and go to the Quad.
btw we are neighbors in D lot I am 116 so we face your row but I am about 6 spots in.

Myself and 2 friends need a tailgate we can crash for this Saturday's JMU game. We will share food (brats) and hydrations. We need a place to leave some stuff during the game and a home base for moseying around. DM me if you or anyone you know would like some company.

I’m also in need of one. Not speaking for him but BleedingPurple hosted my mom and I for the ODU game. He’s at the convo though, far from the quad. I wonder if we can get someone to park in the parking deck across the street from the quad and we could tailgate on the quad. Are we allowed to drink alcohol on the quad? I missed the first two CGDs

Pretty much this. Be discrete and use common sense. There will be security/officers around, but mostly to keep people from being out of control aholes. Don't wave an open container or beer can under their nose.
There won't be space to setup any type of grills, tents, etc if thats the hope. This is more like a massive concert/party with 25-30k of your best friends packed into the quad. Expect that they may do a bag search in certain areas, especially the pit.

I’m in the same boat. Had a friend cancel on me and now I’m going solo. I’m a well mannered JMU alum, just looking for a tailgate with fellow fans who love JMU football as much as I do. If anyone would be welcoming, I’d be grateful for their hospitality.

Bringing the "Dukes Domain" banner, just not sure if worthwhile messing w/it @ this point. Will be in Dlot (space 90) till about 8:30, before heading to the Quad. May meander back, just not sure of timeline. Hope to meet some of you Saturday.

Just bring it and put it up. You never know who might show up. It turned out to be not an ideal game for the board tailgate with so much going on, but I think if you just put the banner up, you may get posters cruising by and stopping for a beer. I plan to. I just don't know what time and how to get a cooler and other goodies there.

And, thanks a million for the banner! If we introduce it now, the idea and the crowd will grow next year.
