Glad to see we are now getting consistent benefit of doubt like Nodak.

Also, how is Quinnipiac not #1 as defending national champs?

Defending national champs should always start the season out at #1.

Over 50% are either NCHC or B1G.

I realize that preseason rankings are just guesses. However, I question what they are basing this on when MSU, Tech and North Dakota are ahead of us.

Nice to see us there but we will need to have more success moving forward to get the undeserved attention of, say UND, in terms of perceptions.

Luckily polls in Hockey are pointless since we have the Pairwise.

Winning out OOC games this year is a MUST being that we dont really play anyone who is ranked.

The players at last years meet in greet we very excited to travel Alaska and do some team bonding events. Many have never been there.

No matter the level, an early season road trip is usually a great team bonding time. Doesn't matter if it's Squirt B at a hotel 3 hours away for the weekend, or an NHL team on a week long roadie 3 timezones away, or anything in between.

I'm all for an Alaskan road trip. It's just the losing the game part that I'm vehemently against.
