An appeal to Kentucky Republicans: Don't re-elect Mitch McConnell!!
If you vote for the above senator yet again, you might as well be voting for a Democrat, IMO. McConnell has shown zero interest in opposing any Biden legislation, and exacts revenge on those senators who go against what he wants. Is this really who you want representing your state, the Commonwealth of Kentucky???

McConnell will never be on the ballot again.
The only question, at this point, is whether he can last until the end of his term, which is 39 months from now. Who knows.

He won't last till January . Hope he has his last of the three replacements ready. Rand Paul needs to have a copy and approve it since he will be the Senior Senator.

McConnell needs to do the right thing and resign due the health reasons. Same goes for Feinstein. There are a few others but those two stand out.
Grassley of Iowa is 86 but still seems to have awareness/lucidity, able to speak and comprehend others.

Charles Grassley turned 90 last week, LOL
But yes, he does still appear to be able to function, mentally and physically
The only way Feinstein, Fetterman, or McConnell leave early is if they die. They will not voluntarily resign.

Lucid or not they should not be there because anyone, yes from either side of the aisle, that age is out of touch with the needs of the of the majority Americans.

RE: An appeal to Kentucky Republicans: Don't re-elect Mitch McConnell!!
If Cameron loses the gubernatorial race, I wouldn't be surprised to see his name on the list of replacements for McConnell. I think this might be the holdup. There's also the possibility that Beshear doesn't cooperate, although I think that may get snuffed out pretty quickly if a Republican wins the state Attorney General race. Beshear may also run afoul of the seventeenth amendment to the US Constitution:
"When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct."
If Cameron wins the gubernatorial race, the only question is who to nominate as senator. That I don't have a good read on as to who that may be. Most of the coverage seems to be on who would replace McConnell as leader in the Senate.

An appointment should just be a caretaker who doesn’t run for the full term.

90 and 81 in failing health. This is about pride and power in the Senate. Step down and enjoy your final years with all your millions in personal wealth. Let someone else serve the American people in good faith with 100% focus, ability and lucidity.

RE: An appeal to Kentucky Republicans: Don't re-elect Mitch McConnell!!
I dont believe Cameron will out Beshear for Governor. A lot of people disliked the way he controlled COVID early on but that changed later on. I dont believe Kentuckians see's him like they would other democrat governors. I personally think other than COVID, he's did a fairly good job for the state. I would be surprised if Cameron wins but its very likely he's the next senator from KY...
if the bum that's holding that seats gets out right after the election is over in Nov.
Cameron most likely lost any chance he had when he flipped flopped on his stance on abortion for rape. I'm pro life but to force a child that got pregnant by rape to not have the option is not going to float in most states. It wont in KY either and if you truely feel that abortion should be against the law for rape victims...don't flip flop. Hold on to what you believe.
The ad of Hadley of Owensboro was a hard hitting ad and after it came out Cameron changed from "I back the KY law as is" to I would consider a law that includes a exception for rape

That turtle Bastige spent $8,000,000 to run attack ads on the woman who was the choice of 70% of the republicans in the state to be US senator.
All to keep lisa murkowski as our RINO senator..
That dude can go to hell for all we care up here!!..

This applies to all the old and up and coming pols regarding enriching themselves. They think they can take the money with them.
In Matthew 16, Jesus asks what good it is for a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul (Matthew 16:26). To gain the whole world is to receive all the world has to offer—money, fame, pleasure, power, prestige, etc. To lose one’s soul is to die without a right relationship with Christ and spend an eternity in the lake of fire.
