Almost every one of us playing OOC let the teams come back and nearly beat us or they did beat us.

These are teams that were put away early and not stomped on. Gotta start treating them like insects and finish them.

I did say almost. But you gotta admit, that's a lot of game that were at least 2 touchdown leads in the first half that ended up neck and neck at the end.

Makes for some entertaining football though. Hell of a day for the SBC today.

Louisiana fans can completely relate to this. Talk about a total disappointment. Especially after dominating two and a half quarters.

Yeah it's not always intentional, too. Sometimes the players just lose intensity when they have a good lead on an opponent. Coach needs to grab them by the facemask and let them know that the other team isn't quitting and they're going to get beat if the don't keep playing at 100%.

Don't change the playcalling, the personnel, or the effort. You can sub in the 4th with a 21+ point lead to get guys experience, but any shift in momentum you go right back to what was working. You don't sub to spare feelings.

the older I get, the less I care for those nailbiters...I was telling people I was there for the days when we burned through the Mac and Cusa 1.0 blowin' teams out by 30 and the students left at the half..

Oklahoma certainly believes this.
