Week 4 thread
Week 4

KU beats BYU in a close game in Lawrence. 02-13-banana
TCU beats old rival SMU.
Cincy falls to OU.
West Virginia picks up a close win over Texas Tech where the Red Raiders had a chance to tie or win late.
Iowa State rebounding against the Cowboys…they’re definitely struggling. Gundy needs a turnaround.
Houston vs Sam just underway.
Baylor has the Horns - tough challenge.
UCF at KSU - should be interesting despite some purple injuries.

WVU only has about 250 yards offense and loses the turnover battle 0-2 and still walks away victorious.

The skillet stays home and little brother is reminded of what it's like to play in a power conference. Good day!

There are definitely times when the score defies expectations that you’d have from the stats.

RE: Week 4 thread
I've gotta' say, Nicco Marchiol hasn't generated much offense since starting for West Virginia, but he has stepped up to at least partly fill the hole that Greene has left behind. Having your first unofficial start against Pitt is hard enough. Going into a key conference match up right after isn't any easier. I feel he's doing just enough, and that should count for something.

He wouldn’t be the first player to start by just barely getting it done and then growing into the role.

Baylor clearly outmatched by uT. Good game going in Manhattan.

Meant to mention this sooner, but wanted to tip my hat to our friends in Cincy. Flipped over to their game against OU a few times (it was on at the same time as the TCU game) and the atmosphere at Nippert was outstanding. Loved the energy and the student section looked lit.

Wish the outcome was different for you all, but glad you're in the conference.

I appreciate that! It gets rowdy at the Nip. I keep trying to talk myself into getting club seats, but I like being in the middle of the buzz too much.
