Doomed for the season if he doesn’t return. But Padgett showed us a little something last year and can keep us in this game and in some games.

But he is not at Daniels level (yet)

USF scores again and scores 2 point conversion.

Looks like Rice has quit. There was little resistance by the Owls on USF’s last drive.

Hope Daniels is ok, he was very difficult to stop and certainly changed the game once he is out. With that said I’m also happy to see USF bounce from two horrible plays, the fumble at the 1 and then the 80 yd Rice TD pass. Those two plays would have sunk USF in the past.

Glad to see our WRs and passing game finally clicking. It’s been a long time coming.

^^^ that’s not ‘quit’. That’s lack of conditioning for 4 quarters of effective defense. Seen it every game this year.

Rice fans, I hope Daniels is not seriously injured. Y'all have a heck of a team with Daniels and should go bowling easily if he stays healthy.
