Seriously, what is your issue. I dont know if I have ever seen you post something positive. You have a weird obsession with Tulsa.

It's the fault of UTSA MBB, or at least that's the impression I got from his posts.

I’m starting to wonder if Frank Grimes was right and Tulsa Bb is the new UTSA Bb. They might be biological twins separated at birth.

Bro don’t put that evil on us!

I would say that Torvik is on the same tier as KenPom, but I personally prefer Torvik, especially his PRPG! and D-PRPG player metrics. The reason I said "good as any" is because someone was looking for a pre-season "poll" and I was presenting a calculated ranking, feeling it should satisfy their inquiry.

Edit: Frankly, any pre-season polls or rankings are highly speculative anyway. It gets much better once there is some current data to review.

I am proud of the Tigers' two NIT championships, but I would exchange them in a heartbeat for a win in the NCAA tourney (some fans would exchange just for earning an NCAA bid). The NCAA Tourney is what really matters.

I hope post-season tourneys other than the NIT and NCAA are banned. Nothing screams low and mid-major like the CBI or like tourneys.

And how would that banning happen? By vote of the conference members? The AAC has 6 new members who may be opposite of Memphis on this.

I do not know because it has not occurred in many years. Hopefully, the former CUSA6 will have sufficient regard of their programs not to stoop to that level.

We disagree with you on this topic. For building programs, that trip to Daytona Beach in March for the CBI can be considered a reward for the players and incentive for them to not enter the portal and aspire to the NIT (or NCAAs) next.

It is a sign of the decline of the AAC. I am happy, although wistfully so, your school secured a way out.
