Very tough break. Thought Western was gonna make a comeback in the 4th but no cigar! Those 6'4"" receivers are hard to stop!

I truly think that the beat down we took from Ohio State last week had a impact on WKU this week, that was the worst 1st half performance I’ve seen from this team in years because they looked scared to death to make a mistake. Unfortunately that made the defense stay on the field way to much and by the time the offense decided to play it was just to little to late because our defense was gassed. The season isn’t over, but this team better play like there is no tomorrow the rest of the season or the fans will check out

Nice to play this series with you WKU. I've always respected your athletics. It's been fun.

Thanks. Was a good series. Congrats on the win. Troy has a strong program and I wish you guys well.
WKU is down considerably this year. Hopefully we will right the ship and finish strong but there's lots of work ahead of us to get there.

Yep, I was telling my wife that the kid will be in the nfl soon. He has very good hands.
What I would do if I was a coach I'd recruit tall basketball players as receivers. Normally they have great hands...normally. Some have hands as if they're wearing catchers mitts. They would have to pass muster to play on my teams. One other thing, why don't coaches have passing exercises with their secondary. There are SO MANY easy dropped passes that my young grandson could catch them. They're only taught to defend but forget the catching interceptions part.

We will improve. Must stop turnovers and bonehead plays.
EIGHT conference games ahead.
Learn from your mistakes and move forward.

We were fortunate to get him to Troy. He followed Jon Sumrall to Troy from Kentucky. He was a 4-star recruit with 22 different P5 offers, so definitely a big get.

Troy should have won by 30, dominated the entire game.
