I do not believe he raped anyone as suggested, as I believe they were all consensual... and that these women are part of the attempt "#metoo" culture.

WHOA. Hold up there. Isn't sex with a minor by the very definition non-consensual, since you know, they are a minor?

That's statutory rape, right? Because as minors they can't give consent?

The age of emancipation in England is 16. Having lived there, kids tend to grow up quicker than here in the US. You graduate from our equivalent to high school at 16 and either go into university or learn a trade. They move out of their parents home and get a flat (an apartment). They can buy beer and cigarettes.

I believe a 30 year man having sec with a 16 year old is morally wrong, but it is not illegal in England.

Times have changed, my great great grandmother was married at 13. It wasn't unusual for the times.

There are more than a few states in this country where 16 IS the age of consent.

I'm sure there are. Just as there are more than a few where it isn't.

Bottom line, would you want your 16 year old daughter having sex with a grown ass man nearly twice her age?

Of course not, but of course that isn't the point. He isn't being cancelled for that. Nice deflection there commie tommie.

He canceled himself out a long time ago before the cancel culture hit him this time. He have always been in trouble since 2010. He was married to Katy Perry at one time. His movies kept bombing as well. I am not surprise that he can't keep his manhood in his pants. I do wonder why women see anything in him? He looks like someone took an ugly stick and hit him in the head so many times.

Seems like you simply don't like the person. Is that reason to "cancel" someone? I see nothing in what you wrote that warrants anything, especially "being cancelled". Plenty of people make terrible movies, plenty of people get divorced. Face it, this is political. Nothing else explains it, especially if the man has not been charged with anything illegal.

I am not defending Brand. I don't give two chits about him. Like I said above, I'm defending justice. What they're doing to him is not justice. When this is all over, IF he is found innocent of all this, do you really think he will ever have a normal life again? Of course he won't, nothing will ever be said about his innocence, all the prog filth will have already moved on to the next poor schmuck.

This is what Brand's problems are.

Quote:Over the course of his career, Brand has been the subject of frequent media coverage and controversy for issues such as his promiscuity, drug use, political views, provocative behaviour at various award ceremonies, his dismissal from MTV, and his resignation from the BBC. He has incorporated many of his controversial public acts into his comedic material.

He had issues in the past with yes, sex with women through the years, drug use, left leaning political views, his behavioral in public, and many more. He also destroyed the legacy of his role in the beloved Dudley Moore's role as Arthur. He is not even funny.

Brand Deported From Japan For His Criminal Record

That article came out in 2011.

Quote:The reason for the deportation? Allegedly, a 10-year-old criminal case, reports the Examiner.

Brand is no stranger to scrapes with the law. He has been arrested multiple times in the past, the last one for allegedly attacking a paparazzi at the Los Angeles airport, reports Reuters.

However, despite the awkwardness that must have accompanied getting snatched up by Japanese police, Brand seems to be handling the situation with some humor.

Brand tweeted several times during his stint in the big house, reports CBS News:

"Planning escape from Japanese custody. It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick."

Now, the chopsticks comment part made him look to be very stupid.

Same here, in fact I have always disliked him.

But the way this is going down is just wrong and the way his government is getting involved in silencing him is wrong.

As has already been stated, they are going after him because he has devolved a big following in recent years on social media for his positions on Big Pharma, covid, lockdowns, woke ideologies and censorship. He has gone after the totalitarian left really hard since 2020.

And to his credit, its does appear that he has changed his behavior quite a bit the last few years and been real open about his past mistakes and foolish lifestyle.
