I also agree - The Bussell experiement in the secondary is a bust. Maybe move him back to WR... because he's a pylon out there in the secondary.

Bourguet is showing flashes- I don't think it's time to give up on him. Needs to develop consistency

Totally agree. Let Treyson continue to get all the reps. He's our best chance to win.

I agree, keep bourget, we need to bounce back and beat ball state this week before we take another beating from Mississippi State the following week.

Nowadays, my greatest fear is the transfer portal when a potential stud emerges in the MAC.

We weren't beating Toledo unless they helped us big-time.

We fought them for three quarters. Don't have the defensive depth to do more against good teams.

That's about all you can hope for right now.

Others noted during the game and it bears repeating: how many times have we seen an opposing QB go down and the backup comes in and lights us up? Are our Broncos cursed to suffer for all eternity against backup QBs?

It should also be noted that this is the third game in a row where the opposing team's star player goes down with a serious injury. Remains to be seen if Finn is done for the year, but it is weird nonetheless. And they were all clean plays, not even a penalty among them.

I agree. I'm betting there are already some P5 coaches licking there chops at the thought of putting Buckley behind an offensive line that can open holes for him.

If I recall, we got a couple speed backs lurking in the stable. I’m trying to remember. Do they get 4 games still without burning a redshirt? Make the opponent cover the edge a little bit.
Also, if we get a point where we can pass block, why not let Wolff play pitch and catch for a quarter. He’s a veteran pocket passer.

Our OL has been bulldozing4Buckley. Much better than the Minnesota OL has been for their HB.
