Game thread start.

If NMSU is going to think about going bowling, we need to win games like these. It's hard for me to get a gauge on Hawaii given their schedule so far. Regardless, it is tough to win on the islands, so this will be no easy task.

GO AGGIES!!!

The bad news. I believe the Aggies have only ever beaten Hawaii once.

The good news. That one win was just last year.

From what I've seen (and I'm jealous) you have a very capable team, you'll win.

This will be a pivotal game and test of our teams focus and consistency. At this point in our rebuild under Jerry Kill I feel like we should beat a team like Hawaii, home or away. Not disrespecting Hawaii I just think this year we are the better team. Kill has preached about changing the culture and mindset of the program and fan base. Going and getting this win would help with that. Historically these are games when we’d lay and egg. Hopefully that changes this year.

NMSU gave up 17 points in the 2nd half and could not score at all and lost 20-17. NMSU had only 78 yards of offense in the 2nd half and lost on a last second field goal. So disappointing.

Traveling and playing Hawaii is always tough. Looks like NMSU ran out of steam.
