Granted I don't fill up often, but I got gas yesterday, and between then and the time I got gas before that it went up 40 cents a gallon.

Gas prices are all over the place, I've seen them as low as 3.19-3.29 in some places and as high as 3.89 in others. There used to be this thing called price gouging that was punishable by fines I guess, apparently not anymore.
