Always has been the problem, always will be the problem! Our dbs continually look like they were dropped off on Mars, and they can't find their way back! Where's "the stinger," Mac?!

I thought CMU played fairly well. Yeah, the dbs got burned for long TDs. But the d line got almost no pressure on ND qb all game.
It was about what I expected for an outcome.

A little surprised at the missed FG, after our kicker nailed a 47 yarder against UNH.

We've had NOTHING in dbs since Robert Jackson! It's Akey's JOB to recruit and fill those holes! Has he done it? NO! And he didn't do it @ Idaho either. They warned us about him! Has Mac taken notice and chose to do nothing? Apparently so! Get ready for another body bag game (defensively) this Saturday!

True. We will probably have to win shoot out games. But I do think our offense can score enough to make up for the defensive liabilities.
Which is still strange, because many of us thought the defense would be the strength of this years team.

Against New Hampshire, we could definitely have played better. However, it turns out we are the first team to hold ND under 42 points this season, so maybe the Irish are just that explosive. We'll see how this weekend's game goes, against our first G5 opponent.

Like their fans, ND was patronizing CMU, and not about to divulge it's playbook before Oh-lie-Oh State when they can move up the big ladder by restraining themselves against CMU and whoopin' the nut-job's ass.

What do we have do to get rid of this guy?!
