First chance I’ve had to watch the team. Not the most inspiring win, but as always, a win is a win. Big game next week…we will need our offense to improve quite a bit if we want to go into MAC play at 3-1.

Austin Smith delivers when it really mattered. Ugly game but we'll take the W.

Ohio beat Iowa State. I called that one. ISU is going to be awful this season with the gambling scandal that they are dealing with.

3-12 on 3rd down, 10 penalties for 100 yards. Ugly ugly ugly. Turnovers the only bright spot. Pass rush and secondary came up big when it mattered.

I don't think the play calling is doing Austin any favors. Trying to bounce it outside on 1st and 2nd against a Don Brown defense is gonna give you a lot of 3rd and longs.

Very good point, Townie. Smith has a way to go to fully develop. But he is also being put in some difficult positions.

What a wild ending to that game!

The offense, especially the passing game has been kinda horrid so far this season. It would have been much better today had one TD not been called back and one fumbled away. They've gotta get better.

It seems like Smith is late getting the ball to some receivers or holds the ball way too long. He did a good job extending some plays with his feet though, including the game-winner.

Evans didn't get enough carries.

Why was Kline not playing late in the game?

Micah Coleman might be the next in a long line of really good DEs.
