How in the world did Bourguet not win this job in the first place? Anyway, glad he's out there.

Glad the Broncos wasted 2 games with Salopek. Hopefully that experiment is permanently finished.

I’m almost convinced (and this happened when Lester was evaluating Salopek) that Salopek is a fabulous practice day QB but gets happy feet on game day and can’t improvises. Bourguet seems to feel pressure and improvises well.

This could definitely be part of it but he doesn't have the arm you want either. Bourguet is just the better athlete all around.

I've simply been very busy on game days it seems like.

WMU has already showed it came out ready to play. Haven’t seen that against a better opponent in years. So that’s a win today for me already on the board.

I'm calling total BS on this "lightning delay". Just checked the radar. It's more of a "Geez, we're getting our ass kicked right now and let's regroup in the locker room" delay.
