From my understanding this is NOT official yet. To your point I don't see a world where he ever coaches at MSU again though.
What MSU did yesterday was start the process of firing him for cause. Tucker has seven days to appeal the decision, so I suppose he could do that and in theory be reinstated. However, given the facts we already know (and Tucker has admitted to) and the clause in the contract that allows MSU to fire him (basically its for embarrassing the University) it seems MSU has a pretty easy case. Even if his events of the situation are 100% true, this whole ordeal still would meet the criteria for their out clause...at least that is how I understand it.

Dear Friends,
If, there is going to be a coaching change at Michigan State, look for the Pittsburgh coach to be a top candidate. I think he would love to come back to Michigan State as their head coach.

I don't think EMUs performance so far this season is raising CC P5 coaching stock. That of course may change.

I understand the connection, but I don't see MSU going that hard after Narduzzi. While he has been fairly successful at Pitt, he is connected to MSU. I just get the sense they are going to want a clean slate with someone with no ties to MSU and the recent past whatsoever.
It seems like a lot of their fans are high on Mike Elko from Duke. He would be a pretty good hire; young (mid-40s), defensive-minded coach (they have struggled there), has some midwest ties, quickly had success at a program that is hard to win at, and most importantly for MSU...no issues off the field (at least that I am aware of).

I'm not sure Narduzzi would get the support of key MSU alumni. Just odd things I've picked up leads me to think he is not on the top of their list.

Agree with CID - Narduzzi is very odd. Boy, I wish we beat them a couple seasons ago. We let that one slip away but the team played great!!

Hm, before this season I thought we would win the MAC title and CC would be getting P5 offers galore. That may still happen but the odds so far.....

1. Narduzzi would probably spend a quarter of his time taunting University Trustees and slappies. I'm here for it.
2. Candle has to be ready to make the leap.
3. Northwestern is still an interim coach IIRC. But that guy's 5-5 looks absolutely stellar given their preseason.
4. Hoke is retiring from SDSU.

Normally we watch the carousel because it may mean we lose coaches from our staff. I think the reverse is true this year. Good candidates from other places may be on the job search and would fit nicely on CCs staff.
Shaq Vann should come back as the RB coach.

I don't think we will get poached this year given the coaching I've seen. Maybe a good thing to get these guys back next year with more experience?
Mu wishlist is an Offensive Coordinator coming to EMU who can get this thing back on track.
My Christmas list is a portal QB and a good O.C.

Yeah I mean this is more for how it will affect the EMU staff and the MAC at large. It's supposed to be a slower cycle this time around but honestly who knows whats going to happen.
I havent added Northwestern because i think that guy is keeping the job.
