I agree that Nebraska by itself doesn't have much drawing power, but paired with Colorado (who was once a fierce rival of the Cornhuskers when both teams had serious national title aspirations) and Prime Time, that game should draw a lot of eyeballs. Whether or not it will beat out the Colorado-TCU game in viewership is a different question, but I think the ratings will still be impressive regardless.

Nebraska vs. Colorado has more drawing power than it may seem on the surface. For those of us that are old enough and grew up in a time when the Big 8 was a thing; this is a renewal of a game that used to be a pretty heated rivalry.

However, there is also more competition in this 12 EST window than there was last week. ND @ NC State and Utah @ Baylor are also in this timeslot. Along with Ohio State (although against a bad opponent and on BTN)

Agree pretty much with everything you said. Notre Dame is a national draw always. Utah @ Baylor should draw well given the recent successes (the loss to Texas State not withstanding) of both programs and the fact that they'll be conference mates soon. Ohio State . . . eh, no disrespect to Youngstown State (whom I fondly remember losing to UCF in a tight Division 1-AA playoff game back in 1994), but I don't think that game is going to come close to beating Nebraska-Colorado.

I think we also need to factor in that Coach Primadonna has also called out Nebraska and Coach Rhule publicly in the media. The media is pushing interest in this matchup

Personally, I'm interested in getting another look at Travis Hunter... OMG!!!

Hunter is a beast and I am glad that he isn't going to spend his career in FCS and be relatively unnoticed.

We all know at this point that the Heisman doesn't go to the best player in CFB; but if he is a top 20ish player in the country at both WR and DB when all is said and done then i hope he gets serious consideration.
