AVG. attendance for TSU and UTSA separately. You made the statement of why the AAC should look seriously at State based on combined attendance in a once a year game. I was wondering season avg. for butts in seats.

Ah, we averaged 29K last year. Highest attended games were home opener vs Houston (37K) and conference championship game (42K). We have a home and home with Texas State through 2031.

Texas State's home attendance last year was <20K.

We averaged like 17k last year, but thats coming off of 8 straight losing seasons. We've shown that when we get some hype going we can put some butts in the seats. Unfortunately there hasn't been much to get hyped for until last week.

Even though we lost yesterday I'd bet we get at least 25k for Jackson State based off the Baylor momentum.

I got you, thanks for the info. Always interested in other program's successes. I know UTSA has been pulling some butts the last few years and that TSU win vs Baylor was awesome.

Best of luck for the rest of the year. Except if UTSA meets Memphis in the show. Then I wish you the worst of luck. We do owe UTSA for breaking our ridiculous home steak after blowing a big lead....still not over it haha.

That Memphis win really helped propel us to a great 2021 season. That was a hell of a comeback. A rematch at the end of this season would be great.

Too early to tell, but I’m glad the UTSA Bb hasn’t put a voodoo curse on the football team yet.
