I don't think they missed a stereotype.
Nothing we haven't heard before. Just sophomoric unoriginal jokes, nothing special.

Agreed. As a fan who straddles the fence I think it’s lame and nothing to take offense to given the last 160 years of this stereotypical garbage.

Seems like most don't agree with that OP in the thread. Honestly, most all SBC fans seem like good folks. Coastal fans can get a bit out of hand sometimes, but overall everyone seems pretty cool.

RE: a$$wipes
LOL.
My mom's side of the family is from southern West Virginia. I have some relatives that fit the stereotypes really well, and others that don't. And one of my best friends in high school and college was born and raised in Fairmont before moving to Virginia.
My great uncle kept the car in the front yard that his son was shot and killed in after a high-speed pursuit by law enforcement along the backroads of Monroe County decades ago. Of course, there were already a bunch of other old junk cars in the front yard, so you really didn't notice one more.
West Virginia has had it rough. It's pretty much been a resource extraction and rust belt state for a long, long time, and unfortunately, that doesn't lend itself to a lot of opportunities for its residents. That's in the general sense, not in the particular. Plenty of rocket scientists have come out of West By God, and as we know, plenty of folks were born, worked in the coal mines, and died, all within five miles of the same spot. Bottom line, it's nowhere near as simple as the stereotypes, and we should all appreciate that.
It could be worse; you could be New Jersey.
Hoping to kick your asses tonight,
Dukes94
