Yep. The remaining presidents who've talked to the media have indicated they don't trust Kliavkoff. This says they're going to at least make a run at rebuilding the PAC and they're going around their commissioner.

Yes. And Mr Luck will have previous experience with pretty much any organisation they want to talk to. They've had enough by now of lessons learned the hard way.

They politely told Kliavkoff to sit this one out. They know how he wheels and deals.

Exactly. This is a not a job for a novice commissioner. This is a job for someone who's been around the block a time or two. I suggested bringing in someone like Bebe or Bowlsby yesterday. Luck would be another reasonable choice that would fill that role.
