Slowly but surely they're putting it together. Today it's mostly the second unit with the occasional appearance from our lone walk on. Two starters (Mills from Florida and Walton from Wichita State) aren't even playing.

Good to hear kids are getting some minutes. Those minutes are going to be pretty hard to come by for a lot of talented kids come winter.

Started watching at the half. Jordan Brown looks better. Boy did he come in out of shape.

Looking much better. Night and day compared to the first game. Not the same level of competition, though. A Spanish speaking person on YouTube said this is the "under 22" All Star team, so a fairly young team.

We have so much depth. This is genuinely the best collection of talent that Penny has assembled to date. There isn't a truly bad option on the entire team and I could see anyone being a passable starter in a pinch. Haven't even officially brought Jones into the fold either.

At this stage, I don't believe it would be a tremendous setback if we don't get Williams's waiver approved. Of course we'd be better with him, but I think we'll be fine either way. Good times.

I just scanned it quickly but it looked to me that for SMU the most interesting part was the pregame warmups!!

I just scanned it quickly but it looked to me that for SMU the most interesting part was the pregame warmups!!

Yeah, I started watching it for a few minutes. Production value aside, Crudeli Academy is aptly named. Second takeaway: SMU looked small.

Under 22? We can field two full starting teams older than those guys, lol.

In the first game on Wednesday against the DR National team, we were WAY behind on age. They had a 39-YO giving us grief. DeAndre would have been proud.

This trip was a great experience in the right year.
