Practice tea leaves…
Watching the highlight videos on twitter a few things:

The rumors of Valcarcel being in the mix as a starter at safety appear to be real. He’s going against the #1’s in any highlights we see and Hammock like the “steel sharpens steel” approach in most drills.

Your top 3 corners are Dabney, Armegatcher, and Byrd.

Chris Carter is out there catching passes with the 1’s and he’s a giant.

Armstrong is in line for a lot of snaps at WR.

Crowell & Williams seem to be getting a good shot at that other DE spot.

Also of interest they moved Gilbert from safety to LB - Hammock said he has been “phenomenal”

Interesting move.

Interesting move.

A reaction to Artis getting injured would be my guess...

I was really high on Armstrong coming out of HS. He has good size and speed and was not only a really good receiver in HS but was an exceptional punt and kick returner as well. I think he had some injury issues last year along with Jalen Johnson. If they can stay healthy last years WR class has the potential to be a really outstanding group with those two, Eli Reed, and Pipkin (who had a big spring).

Pipkin is a player Hammock likes to mention - I feel like he has to get some snaps this season
