Remembering Jane Brown
I read with sadness the passing of Jane Brown. She worked in the athletic department for many years, most recently. as the Director of Special Events. She came to several of our Duke Club events in Fredericksburg. Jane was quiet but worked hard behind the scenes to make every JMU event flawless. She bled purple and will be missed.

So terrible to see someone with early onset alzheimers disease. I knew of two others afflicted between ages 50-60.

RE: Remembering Jane Brown
That was my first thought. 50s is way too young to get Alzheimer's. That's so sad. May she rest in peace.

She worked with us in the Crown Club and was just so helpful and fun to work with. This is a sad time in JMU athletics.

RE: Remembering Jane Brown
Jane was my liaison for my induction into the Hall of Fame. She was wonderful to work with.
A great personality and very patient. RIP
