I'd feel bad for OSU and WSU but no one felt bad for Cincinnati after we were left behind so...

I feel that. We were left behind historically as well and the one time we did the leaving (going from SBC to CUSA) it bites us in the ass.

Um… OreSt and Wazzou should bring in some value if Apple Cup and Civil War are retained, and UO and UW need those games OOC to maintain SoS and mitigate travel.
I expect to see an OOC scheduling partnership with the B1G West Coast and 4C schools.

Wonder what increase the MWC would get by adding Washington State and Oregon State?

Probably on par with the AAC at $7m, maybe escalating a million more.

But that $7 is for only legacy members right? The recent adds are only getting partial shares.

There are no exit fees to keep. Tournament credits might be the only real incentive. If the MWC dissolves, all of those credits would go to the schools. WSU and OSU would need to invite all 12 schools simultaneously, who obviously would not charge themselves an exit fee. The Pac-14 can then get a temporary boost by having both conferences' credits. Ideally a portion of the Pac-12's would be put into savings and the Pac-14 would live off the interest.
No exit fees? Wow.

From the PAC:
OSU
WSU
From the MWC:

Memphis
USF
Tulane
I'm not sure CUSA/Sun Belt/MAC have any programs that would make sense for this conference. Actually, I'm not sure this conference makes any sense at all
The travel would be beyond awful, and I'm not sure that it would generate enough revenue/TV/fan interest to be worth the hassle, compared to the MWC just taking OSU/WSU. The AAC schools would especially be on an island, you might need to add some more schools (like FAU/UAB/UTSA) to give some quasi travel partners.
Edit:
Actually, this might not be awful
West Division:
OSU
WSU
SDSU
Fresno
CSU
Boise
East Division:
SMU
UTSA
Tulane
Memphis
USF
FAU
Everyone kinda has a travel partner (OSU/WSU, SDSU/Fresno, CSU/Boise, SMU/UTSA, Tulane/Memphis, USF/FAU) to help with the non football sports. You'd probably have to lean heavily on divisional play, especially for sports that play weekday games. However, it's not like the current conferences are that compact, pretty much every west coast conference involves a lot of flights, and the AAC goes from Texas to Florida to PA.
You could also convince me to replace some of these schools, like UNLV or UAB could be in the mix, or maybe you do go to 14 schools, so you can rely even heavier on divisional play.
Edit 2: I agree with some of the people who quoted me that this seems like a far fetched idea, I was mostly proposing this as a thought experiment.
Colorado is not the best of the rest.
UNR
Utah State
Air Force
Coastal Carolina
App State
Marshall
Troy
UAB
These are better options.

Same. No one felt bad for USF and Cincinnati for getting left behind. USF is still left behind, so if it happens to WSU and OSU oh well sorry.

...we gotta stop thinking so 'deliberately' (I'm guilty of it too)...
We look to be on the "Grand Upheaval" so many have been predicting for years... ...and something tells me the media folk have been waiting for this moment (along with a lot of other fat cats who will help bankroll it, within reason, of course) - and something tells me ALL of the current P5 programs will get a landing spot (most likely as a 'pay cut', but still a 'raise'), even OrSt and Wazzou - who I think will be great fits in the XII, and if that happens, I expect Yormark to offer up Gonzaga as well, as they are in the same general area...
I DO believe that Apple and Amazon will jump in to grab SOME content from one of the "expanding conferences", although it's been said Apple is an 'all or nothing' proposal... so perhaps only Amazon - grab a few Tier 2 and 3 content...

Still way more brand value than the Mountain West ever had. MWC name gets left behind..

There were 4 rather than 2 members left in the SWC, and they just shut the whole conference down rather than keeping something under the SWC name.

We've seen all kinds of rivalries die during realignment. Pitt-West Virginia, Kansas-Missouri, Texas-aTm (soon to be revived). Going further back, Arkansas-Texas (soon to possibly be revived, depending on whether they're made regular SEC opponents), Oklahoma-Nebraska (only occurred every other year after the Big 12 formed, then totally killed off after Nebraska joined the Big 10.)
Oregon and UW might want to end those rivalries just to totally kill off Oregon State and Washington State's recruiting.

PAC2 + MWC = PAC14
No exit fees for MWC, PAC and MWC retain NCAA credits and PAC brand name, and most importantly, MWC can immediately play in 2024.

RE: A Pac-2 of OSU and Wazzu, what's next?
Due to exit fees, none for those leaving the Pac-12 but $34M for schools leaving the MWC to join the Pac-12 in 2024, combined with the Pac-12 not having any TV deal (Apple deal is dead with the other schools exiting) means the only realistic option is for WSU and OSU to join the MWC.
Sucks for the. They'll both have to trim probably $25M from their total Athletic budgets to make it work, as donations will drop significantly as will NCAA distributions and media money. I imagine a number of layoffs, combined with non-renewed contracts of higher paid coaches for both of them.

Would the MWC in a 2PAC merge be so bold as to leave a couple behind, like UNM and UWyo?
