As I mentioned in my OP of this thread, I think Coastal and Georgia Southern are the two teams behind the eight ball this year. Really shocked at the Georgia State result. I know there can be one-ofs, but the Panthers should be better than this result.

Everything else but the UCF upset win vs top ten Clemson is an expected (or acceptable) result.

For poll watchers, #8 and #9 lost tonight, and #10 tied vs Cal at home, so there's a strong chance Marshall could move up to the top 8 and the SBC could have two top 8 teams this upcoming week.

Also in the news today, 3 SBC players named to the Hermann Trophy Watchlist - Kentucky’s Casper Mols and Finn Ballard McBride along with Marshall’s Matthew Bell who had a hat trick tonight.

Only 1 team with a National Championship Star. Plus USM and Marshall are two peas of the SBC3 pod.

Marshall takes the conference title for sure, but I’m hoping GSU can make it into the NCAAs as an at large again. It’s also nice to have a new rivalry brewing. It keeps things interesting.

I think it was a great partnership, UCF makes this conference stronger, plus has name appeal to most of the schools alumni. In return SBC offers UCF conference games in a close regional proximity, along with playing in a Top 3-4 soccer Conference.

Just found this thread a couple of weeks ago and am looking forward to this season. I'm happy we could contribute from the start to what looks like should be a great conference.

GS breaks the 12-game non-winning streak beating UNC Asheville 2-0.

South Carolina lost to Gardner-Webb. Man it feels so dirty wanting a P5 program to beat a non-P5 program even if that classification doesn't really exist in men's soccer.

Heck yeah.. plus the PAC is one of the top soccer conferences so this is a huge win for multiple reasons.

SBC is easily a Top 3-4 soccer conference so it’s great to pick up wins against other top 3-4 conferences.
