RE: 2023 Bearcats Football Season Thread
With the exception of Kelly and yes, Tubberville, nobody came in here and had any success their first year.

Maybe Satterfield will end up being a flop, but all anyone with any reason is saying is that you can't make any determination off this year. The guy wasn't left much to work with on offense and the defense did well for a while and then just collapsed at the end of the year.

All the Satterhaters are reda$$ed because all the Louisville guys are crowing because they didn't want him anymore because he tried to get the South Carolina job after only one year there. Once that got out, he was dead man walking at Louisville.

And to add to the haters frustration, Louisville got their "golden boy"... who never did jack sh!t at Purdue... and he had a seemingly good season there... with mostly Satterfield's players. Never mind that Brohm was able to bring in a QB he was familiar with, played an EASY schedule and now gets to play FSU sans Jordan Travis.

Please also note that Satterfield took over a mess at Louisville that Brohm wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Of course, the Louisville guys said that he'd just gotten to Purdue and wanted to be polite and not leave early. But once Satterfield cleaned it up, now Brohm takes the job.

Now I don't know what Nick Sabin could do with being given QB choices of Bryant, Prater and Lichtenberg, but that aint much to work with.

And when given the chance to identify the clear and obvious choice of who should have been hired this board produced a big PFFFFT.

So I'm not pleased with 3-9 but I'm willing to give the guy a fair chance to prove himself. That hasn't happened yet.

BUT BY GOLLY THE LOUISVILLE GUYS ARE LAUGHING AT US !!!!!!

Nobody is telling you to not sunshine pump. You do you. But for the love of God it goes both ways. Stop it with the "fan" police calling people out because you don't agree with them or worse don't want to imagine they are right. It's silly.

That's the difference from my perspective and experience on here. It's one thing to be optimistic but another when there is an "emergency helicopter response" to any post with a different opinion. Wait, I mean a poster that is "absurd, entitled and clueless." LOL.

But saying someone is "pumping sunshine" and on "hopium" for saying that maybe we should give a coach time before dismissing him as a failure is what exactly???

Careful making reasonable points like this might be labeled an "emergency helicopter response".

Great point. And there was some pretty good data going around twitter that illustrated how much better the Louisville job was this year when brohm actually took it than the year Satterfield took it because Brohm wanted no part of that mess.
