Turner/Warner is about the only one I could think of - they had some games 'back in the day', so not a foreign idea, but - will be interesting as to how much they want to pony up for PAC, especially if the primary package is Apple, who is reported as typically requiring an 'all-or-nothing package' type of deal...

Ha! I must be Wilner’s source here.

The way this Pac 9 TV saga is going reminds me of the NHL tv negotiations. TNT, TBS and even True TV do have slots open for Friday nights and Saturdays. We’ll see.
TNT has AEW on Friday and Saturday nights

The Friday show is flexible. Look at how often it's preempted for basketball or hockey.

Update:

As PAC commissioner George Kliavkoff reviewed distribution numbers, University of Utah AD Mark Harlan played 'Adventures of Tintin' in silent mode on his smartphone until two minutes ago, when he was glared at by university president Taylor R Randall.

...another thread had Scheer noting from the meeting (outside the meeting?) that it has basically become a "realignment meeting"... ...and sorry for the multiple threads, but I reckon this one has turned into a bit of 'comic relief' for the proceedings, which I am just fine with... 03-drunk02-13-banana03-lmfao

...gotta be the worst case for PAC standing pat... ...truly, at this point, even if they DID present a deal, I would have trouble believing they could 'deliver' it...

A PAC member would have to be to the point to where the only conclusion is "These buffoons don't know what they are doing - how can I trust them to run a conference my school is in?"

Wasn't the rumor that there were 3 deals being presented? If it were 1 deal and they didn't act on it, that would definitely be trouble. If it were 3, then it could also be they need to figure out what might work best for them individually.

Could also still be trouble. But this isn't scenario where there's a single possibility.

I'm sure a big complication all through this has been that the schools have different ideas about what constitutes 'the best deal.' The best balance of exposure and payout, for example.

Best by which definition? Most money? Most OTA exposure? Best combination of the 2?

...good call... ...because if all that has been reported over the last YEAR is true, this is potentially the FIRST 'comprehensive media package' the folks have seen, so I reckon they just tote the reports home to their boards and mull over it... and if they aren't ready to bolt the conference, there WILL be a lot of questions asked in that next meeting, I am certain...

...I'm down with the Quack in the XII... logistically, makes it a bit easier to potentially catch a road game, perhaps in Houston? (honestly, I think that is the closest XII city to me - well, Orlando, more likely... oooh, UO in the Bounce House would be cool 04-rock )

AEW Collision has the primetime Saturday spot on TNT and Warner has been more than happy with the viewership for AEW, especially in the 18-34 demographic.

AEW also have the half the viewership in the same demographic than WCW at the same time. AEW is dying already since they hired all those WWE rejects including CM Skunk.
