Video calculating values for football programs.
Here's a little change of pace from the news we've received this week. In this video they look at the brand values for football programs only. They do this for the P5s and some of the G5 schools. One of them gives an explanation of what went into the calculations they used to determine the numbers. I'll just mention that the value covers three years minus the covid year.

Washington and Oregon are both very high on that ranking, both ahead of USCLA.

I did find that a lot of info is missing as well. Boise State is actually undervalue, that 2021 season, a lot of schools still had issues with covid which some missed post season, third what would the G5 schools would look like if they were making the money in media deals as part of the P5 the past few seasons, the number of wins for more than 3 years since Boise State is like the school with the better % winnings, the academics are wrong when Memphis is an R1 which is better than San Diego State and SMU right now, etc.

The one thing that stuck out in that video was the undervaluation of Boise St.

What stood out to me the most was how well UCF did despite being in the AAC.

Yeah, they also hired coaches from P5 schools to be their head coaches and they are winning. Football and men's basketball. They even hired who worked under Baylor's AD. Those people were not cheap to get either.

No, no, they accidentally flipped Boise St and Texas in the rankings.
