Virtually all programs reports tickets sold. They sold them, why wouldn't they count them.

And by the way, this goes for other sports and leagues as well. NFL, NBA, MLB ets all report tickets sold.

Both offer their bragging rights. That said, I'd rather someone buy a ticket and not show up, than show up with a ticket we gave away.

Not a ton of traction since this time last month for ECU. Up from 13,800 to 14,200 as of this morning. Goal by kickoff is 16k. Current number is 1,500 behind his point last year.

It's kinda terrible since we used to be above 23k not that long ago.

Last year we had a home schedule of State, ODU, Campbell, Navy, Memphis, UCF, and Houston. This year we have a home schedule of Marshall, Gardner-Webb, SMU, Charlotte, Tulane, and Tulsa. Gigantic drop off. I didn't even realize how bad the home schedule was until I just looked it up.

Dude?
You’ve got the defending league champs, a big in-state rival, AND the renewal of a rivalry with a team that you went to OT against 4 of the last 10 meetings and *narrowly* lost to in your last meeting which was for a berth in the conference championship.

RE: Any Football Season Ticket Numbers Yet?
Well, I know my section at Protective only has 6 season tickets sold (2 of which are mine)...nevermind that every single game someone is sitting in my seats when I show up. I think UAB's "big" one is club seating, which I know has a waiting list.

Marshall will probably bring more fans than UNCC.

They travel well by the standards of our conference opponents, but they never brought more than 1k fans to a game in Greenville. If Charlotte doesn't bring more than that they should be embarrassed.

Yeah like I said gigantic drop off. Losing State alone explains most of it though, swap State for Marshall and the rest of the schedule being far worse wouldn't really matter I suspect the numbers would be the same or better.

I literally missed “State” in your post, even reading it multiple times. In the back of my mind I remembered the game, too, but since I followed it online I didn’t remember it was a home game.

I’m thinking “at least you have an in-state opponent” 03-wink

I get your point now!!!!! Thx for spelling it out for me

The 'cheap seats' season ticket is $115...if I lived any closer I'd pull the trigger. It may not be a sexy lineup of opponents but twenty bucks to watch a football game is pretty cheap by today's standards.

We played Marshall 2 years ago in Huntington and beat them. Nice fourth quarter comeback if you feel moved to watch highlights on YouTube.

I remember that game and I raised an eye brow when my “research” told me it had been ten years since you two played.

I’ll chalk it to “operator error” looks like I must have had a tab open on the website for two years (!) and it didn’t re-query the database.

I’m going to quit using that website anyway because it’s since become overrun with sponsored content, and more importantly, it’s obvious they have no respect for our pals Uncc and utsa mfb

Gardner-Webb also with an appearance on the MBB Bottom Ten there!

Word is that our latest numbers are at about 9,300, with the stated goal being 10K. It’ll be interesting to see if we reach it. If you ask me, it would be a huge disappointment if we don’t at least hit 10K.
