Monday Musings
Holiday week here in Ypsilanti. Which brings me to my question. When was peak downtown Ypsilanti/Depot Town?

Was it the 2000s with the music scene and three dueling piano bars.
1990s
1980s
1970s everything was better in Michigan in the 70s.
1920s? even with prohibition?
1870s. railways stop all the time?

RE: Monday Musings
Dear fanfrompowellspub,
When I was attending Eastern in the early sixties, downtown Ypsilanti had restaurants, bars, clothing stores, the Martha Washington theater, a car dealership, banks, as well as many other businesses that seemed to be thriving affairs.
Depot Town not so much.

Depot Town peak was about 3 years ago. It's still nice, but losing Cultivate hurt.

Downtown is the best it's been in years.
