Go home, JHS55. You're drunk. Can one of you other Houston fans make sure your boy gets back safely?
Baylor has always been a g5 , nothing new…
I can't imagine having this level of arrogance while my football team was being coached/tanked by Dana Holgorson. But you do you, little buddy.

And even basketball smack falls short here because Baylor slapped around one of your two best teams of the Kelvin Sampson era on our way to a national title two years ago.

But sure, a program with three Big 12 football titles, four New Year's Six bowl appearances, two Big 12 men's basketball titles, a national MBB championship and one of the nation's most successful women's basketball programs is G5 and always has been.

Like all fan bases we’ve got a few posters that like to troll and stir the pot. My best advice is to just ignore them. Any response, no matter how well crafted, really just feeds into their game.
I'm sure you're right. For what it's worth, I'm pumped to renew this series. Houston is the one former SWC school we really haven't played since the breakup. That will be really fun as an annual matchup on the gridiron and a twice annual matchup (at least) on the hardwood.

Yup looking forward to rekindling some old rivalries. My expectations are set pretty low on the football side. Just hoping we can at least notch 1 win against the other Texas schools. Getting swept would be a bad look lol

Welcome to the Big 12!
As a UH fan of a certain age, I will always feel bitter about being left out of the original Big 12. But for now I am glad we had enough political power to not be left out this time.

I look forward to rekindling the old rivalries.

Of the 4 newbies UH and BYU have never been to WVU. UCF has only been one. UC has been there several times.

When you go here is what to expect if you get off the main roads:

Sounds like a party. Glad to have you in the Big 12. I look forward to seeing the Baylor-Houston series rekindled after a near 30-year hiatus.

Baylor beat Houston 4 of the last 5 games they played, with the last two scores being 52-13 and 47-7. The Bears plan on picking up right where they left off - DOMINATION

A two game winning streak against a team on probation is hardly domination. All time the series sits at 14-13-1 in y’all’s favor. Looking forward to resuming what has been a very competitive series throughout the years.

The Southwest Conference was a great league. Baylor's records against everyone but Texas, A&M and Rice are right around .500 -- or at least were until we forgot how to beat TCU in the last 15 years.

SMU -- 39-36-7
Houston -- 14-13-1
Texas Tech -- 39-39-1
Arkansas -- 32-35-2
TCU -- 48-57-5

Those are/were all great series. I'm glad that we've rekindled the TCU and Houston ones in conference.

Just ignore the troll. That said, Baylor's most recent wins over UH came during our most down period in history.

Very similar for us. UH-Tech sits at 18-15-1 UH and UH-TCU sits at 13-12 UH. We’re happy to back among old rivals. I’m prepared for things to be a bit one sided our first few years in the league but eventually these series will be fiercely contested rivalry games.

Your numbers for the BU/Tcu series are wrong. Baylor's record vs Tcu is 53-58-7

[/quote]I got the records from sports-reference.com/cfb, so that site must be off by a bit. I'm not entirely sure why, but they only count the games played from 1903 on. According to winsipedia, there were several games played before that.

I'm looking forward to watching my Coogs play against the better half of the old Southwest Conference again, but it's probably gonna be a tough first season. At least I get to look have more in-state road trips. \|n/

[Welcome to the big-12] well be careful what you ask for, oh wait y’all didn’t ask for houston, it took Tillman fertitta to strong arm some politicians to get houston in at the last moment so houston comes into the b-12 as a mouth full of grass burrs that y’all have to swallow with out water…
Cheers…
