I got a better suggestion. Stop it with this flash in the pan emoni bate.and start talking about real EMU sports! I thought it was stupid from very beginning. All most everyone on here said he was a one and done. He gone let it go. He had no interest in coming in the first place and only when I one else want him rumors has it they finally had to pay him to come here. So stop it with BS how now after he might make the NBA he's going to all these great things for EMU. Put the drink down and face reality.

Supe is a dope and his behavior regarding Bates borderline invalidates anything he has to say going forward. I'd call him a clown but i like clowns.

Cleveland's only pick was Bates. That's pretty neat. I wish he went somewhere with a little more veteran leadership but thats a place he WON'T have the be THE GUY and that's the best thing for him. I predict he'll have a decent NBA career as a situational bench guy who can provide microwave points off the bench.

Didn't help us win? It couldn't have possibly been that his teammates were terrible! No way that could have been a factor!

Didn't help us win? It couldn't have possibly been that his teammates were terrible! No way that could have been a factor!

Bates did more for the Team this year than Supe has done for any conversation or thread about Bates.

Super/79, you are stating things about Emoni Bates and his role at EMU that no one can actually discern especially from an outside perspective. The season did not go as planned- not for the players, not for the coaches, not for EMU, and not for Emoni Bates. Who do you blame for that, impossible to say. It happens (usually not this bad, but stil…). Time to move on.

I certainly don’t think you can blame one player. Also want to point out Vanzee’s tweet about UM’s season just for perspective…
