ECU is shaping up to be pretty strong this year. Led by a national champion PG, RJ Felton, Jaden Walker, Brandon Johnson, and Ezra Ausar.

I was just joking around, but after you said that, I looked it up.

You're right, actually.

Memphis finished #22.

We lost #1 (UH), #63 (UC) and #66 (UCF) to the Big 12.

We gained #13 (FAU), #30 (UNT) and #39 (UAB) from C-USA.

ANDDDDD...next on the radar is Charlotte at #98.

Kinda sad that #98 is next after the top 4 remaining (and 3 of those came from C-USA), and even sadder that all the remaining AAC teams + Rice and the school that won't be named, are below that. WAY below, in a lot of cases.

Does anyone know UTSA’s NET? Asking for a friend.

UTSA's NET is sitting in the link in Post #23 above.

Here's a hint. Start from the bottom.

Tulsa would have had a higher NET if not for UTSA BB.

A few days ago, the conference released the basketball pairings for this upcoming season. It will be an 18-game conference schedule where each program plays every team. But will play a group of 5 teams twice and the other eight only once (4 only at home & 4 only on the road). Personally, I think FAU, Memphis & UAB came out best in this scheduling model.

UAB got with home and away games with FAU, Memphis, UNT, Tulane, & SMU. UAB only plays one game @ UTSA, so at least that game won't hurt your home attendance.

Here is a link to the release....

The conference has done this every year of its existence.

Since we have too many teams for a true round robin, the conference identifies the top 6 teams or so, and pits them home and home to help their SoS, since they are the teams most likely to contend for post-season play.

A commissioner with a brain. I'm not sure how to act.... Judy cost CUSA bids every year by not doing this. Glad to be here and away from that dumpster fire.

As a top team ECU avoids having to play Rice, UTSA, USF, Tulsa, and Memphis twice. Fellow top teams Charlotte, UNT, SMU, Temple, and Wichita; ECU looks forward to playing you and boosting each others NET so we all make the NCAA Tournament 04-cheers
