Is anyone really surprised with the results from this weekend? An offense that was good enough to win, but still inconsistent. Starting pitching (ex Parker) that is essentially next guy up and hope for the best. A bullpen that can’t be counted on. And even the defense that looked to be improved earlier in the season yielded 5 uneraned runs this weekend.

This team needs a serious upgrade in talent and coaching. Next year is a Bloomgren year for Cruz from both a recruiting and coaching standpoint. Let’s just hope if next year isn’t dramatically better he doesn’t get several more Bloomgren years like, you know, Bloomgren.
