That's a thought. I also wonder if getting rid of Carlson was a (not public) part of the deal with Dominion. And really, though Carlson was a problem, he was enabled by the leaders there so in a way he's a fall guy for a problem at the network as a whole.

Fox News is under fire from left, right, and center. How will it move forward as an organization? They are running out of allies, supporters, and viewers. I fear that they will continue down the path of "outrage journalism" and "alternative facts" in a desperate attempt to stay relevant with the far right, which has drifted towards fringe "news" organizations like OAN and Newsmax.

I do wonder if the ratings at OAN and Newsmax will increase as a result of this. Isn't one of them threatened by lawsuits from Dominion or Smartmatic, or both?
