This must be fake news. How could we be ahead of Toledo, the best team in the country in ever sport?

Don’t you ever get tired of the Toledo narrative…..I sure do.

Certainly not a good start for the Huskies. Already 14 shots behind Kent State, who seems to be pretty clearly the best team in the field.

Huskies finished second last year and that appears to be the ceiling again.

No, I never get tired of bashing Toledo. Absolutely despise everything about them. Always have for many years. I will certainly root for the Illini when they play the Turds in September.

Actually, not great. Finished second last year.

I expected second and said it was our ceiling in an earlier post. Unfortunately, Kent State is just much better.

Huskies finish second in the MAC, but, my goodness, THIRTY THREE shots behind Kent State. Both KSU golf programs are incredibly good.

Doesn't KSU actually have an indoor golf range and putting greens facility? Some of the MAC schools clearly invest in even their smaller/Olympic sports.

NIU, all our teams just have whatever facilities existed 20-50 years ago. To think, NIU has no new athletic related facilities since CPC opened in 2013 (?). So 10 years with no new facility or major renovation of an existing facility.

Rich Harvest Farms is a top notch facility and has been a primary driver in the vast improvement in both our men’s and women’s programs.

One of the best in the country. And the golf teams roll in a Mercedes sprinter van.

I have no clue where Rich Harvest is in proximity to NIU. Does it have indoor training facilities like KSU?

Rich Harvest Farms is roughly 25 to 30 minutes from DeKalb.

Our girls golf program is #2 in an FBS-level conference, pretty good stuff.

Rich Harvest farm is a very well know, top tier golf course. It's a few minutes down the road, but a great course for training, attracting talent, and hosting tourneys. I'd guess that course is why we're one of the top teams in conference.

I knew the golf-guys had an awesome team limo-van, do the ladies as well?
