My guess is Prater is going to be a gadget guy. He won’t be a starter or probably on the two deep, but will come in for the jet sweeps, reverses and other trick plays this staff likes to employ.

Agreed, and he could be highly effective in such a role, though his time on the field will be limited.

I don't know the man personally but maybe he loves UC and playing in Cincinnati and is willing to take on such a role to be a part of this team. Here's hoping it all works out for him.
