Just saw an interview with the CEO of BlackRock confidently predicting more bank failures worse than SVB are in the near future.

There will be enormous political pressure on McCarthy and the House Republicans to go along with whatever Bailout proposals Biden’s handlers come up with. You KNOW it’s coming.

Actually---they could very well be part of the cause. Lots of commercial properties are in trouble. The demand for office space has fallen off a table since Covid----and retail buildings have been under pressure for while---but that also got worse since Covid changed many peoples buying habits. Many of these properties are not going to be able to continue paying their mortgages. Furthermore, a lot of commercial mortgages need to be refinanced and they are going to find higher interest rates (making their profit and loss problems substantially worse)---and thats if they are lucky enough to find a lender who wants to finance a property thats barely making it in this environment.

It’s amazing that they drive almost every publicly traded company in existence by taking just enough stock to be the biggest investor. And if they aren’t the biggest , they are the biggest institutional/outside investor.

Don’t like Walmart? Good luck shopping anywhere else, because virtually every alternative is controlled by BlackRock as well. Right down thru industry after industry. Sure they may say they only own 6% or what have you, but that’s enough to control them all.

Same for the companies who supply the stores. And the companies who make the machines the suppliers buy to make the products, and many of the raw materials, the packaging.

We don’t have a chance. All we can do is feed the beast. And good luck knowing who is behind it.

They have done a remarkable job of staying out of the public’s eye and remaining virtually unknown and anonymous, all the while driving a good portion of the worlds lives.

Well I'm quite certain that there are other greedy morons running banks out there that we just don't know about... yet.
