Apparently WMU will travel to Lindenwood next season.

Do they even have an arena? Or is it gonna be like playing at anchorages arena?

I like this trip. St. Louis is becoming a very nice youth hockey area. Fersch ran the youth hockey program in Kansas City, so I'm sure he has some connections to St. Louis.

Fersch building program visibility. It’s all part of the plan. Guys all getting NHL/AHL gigs…. WMU is getting it done.

I am so excited to see all of the new blood coming in and doing work. We are only just beginning as a program. Andy was fab…. But I see Fersch going more towards the one and done kids who want to get connected and shown out.

Yep and most people on here said it wasnt a big deal and turned out it was a BIG deal.

The good news is that Lindenwood's top scorer from last year is headed to Nodak, which I guess that's not good news for us lol but I think we only play Nodak once next year in GF, I think I saw from Schloss that they dont come to Kzoo next year.

That’s perfect. We beat them @ ND & they beat us @ KZoo.

The schedule guy on USCHO has the Lindenwood series as January 5/6th, so plenty of time to get it together.

I would assume so too, but I wonder if what year it happens depends on what year Camden Shasby joins the team (he's the son of UAA coach Matt Shasby). The Heisenberg list has him as 2023 or 2024, and considering how good we look for defensemen next season I'm guessing he'll arrive in 2024.

Decent NCHC schedule. Nothing really sticks out. A lot depends on whose gonna be good next season.

Nodak's schedule is already set for next year, wish we had that info.

I'd bet we wont get a finalized schedule until June.

Kind of funny to see season schedules being announced in late April. Used to have to wait until June for that.

What's funny is it used to be most of college hockey had to wait until June for their schedules to come out while WMU routinely waiting until mid-August.

Sioux fans expect this. Once the schedule comes out in Spring, they start making all their travel arrangements. Many of them go to "ALL" the road games, so this gives them time to get the best deals on airfare and hotels.

Speaking of travel, would love to know when/if WMU is going to ASU as I will be going. I'll pass on St Louis
