Yeah, the article that first came out from the panthers stated that they didnt even expect him to play in any pro games, nhl or ahl, maybe i read that wrong.

I think Luke Grainger is our next Captain. Berger, Hillenbrand, Hilsendager, Fiedler & Larkin probably in the mix for Alternate Captains.

Another big boost for our D-core!

Our D-Core for 2023-2024 (hopefully):

Bauer, Galambos, Hilsendager, Fiedler, Berger, Sjolund.

Plus probably an in-coming freshman being our 7th D-man.

We should be nice and experienced on D / goalie for next year.

I am excited to see what Sjolund can do.

Its a pretty deep D….and scoring seems to be something our system develops so I’m excited to see it develop.

Don't forget Knuble who was the 7th Dman most of the season; though he could move back to forward with how deep our D is looking for next season.

Wow, nice to see Dr. Galambos coming back. Our D & Goaltending will be all the same besides Fulp.

Really doesn't make sense that Perbix is leaving. You'd think his role would have expanded greatly with the entire top line turning pro.

Maybe it’s a personality thing.

With sass, Polin and McAllister gone, for sure he’s on the second line but he’s logging major minutes.

I'm not trying to bash Perbix or anything. But, if you're going on your 3rd team in 3 seasons, you might be looking for something unrealistic.

Perbix transferred to Northern Michigan?

Try to make sense of that. Did they tell him to leave?

Good luck to him in Marquette. Hopefully this is a sign that WMU will have a very competitive roster next season and Perbix won't get as much ice time.

I really doubt that.

I’m hoping perbix case was that Fersch told him he needed to earn his ice time next year and he didn’t want to and left.

Hopefully this speaks to the players coming in.

Big ten-NCHC-ccha doesn’t make much sense.

Actually kind of does make sense. Potulny was the Gophers Associate coach who was responsible for recruiting. It's very likely the two crossed paths during the recruiting process or knows someone who knows someone, being both are from MN.

I have been very impressed with what Grant Potulny has done at Northern Michigan and keep wondering how much longer he will be there before another school snaps him up. I thought Mankato might have take a run at him? IDK...
