Who would have taken that bet two weeks ago? 03-drunk03-lmfao02-13-banana

Every one of those schools in contention is moving to the AAC on July 1st.

No doubt recruiting has already picked up in quality as they are recruiting for the AAC not CUSA, getting a better athlete than they could with a C-USA future. Hence the surprise success.

AAC gonna be fire in hoops next season!

That is BALONEY.

Recruiting picked up? Bad logic here. Most of these players have been at their current C-USA schools for a couple of years or more and several (on these four teams) will never play one minute in the AAC due to using up their eligibility or leaving via the portal.

It is amazing a few posters here STILL disrespect this year's C-USA teams.

Even with the FACTS of the success in these tournaments staring them in the face. SMH.

I think some of this is due to people in this thread {who know NOTHING about BB besides what espn tells them} having to post and force us to see their ignorant and ILL-Informed opinions.

They think that they "MUST" post on every thread---- even if they shouldn't due to a personal lack of information.

I think it is fairly obvious the NET and Tournament Committee undervalued C-USA again. I believe 5 of the last 6 years, C-USA's lone NCAA Tournament team has won their opening round game.

This season FAU is in the Elite 8 and UNT & UAB make up half of the NIT's Final Four. Plus Charlotte already claimed the CBI title. C-USA should have been a 2-bid league and FAU should have been seeded higher. The NCAA needs to be a better system for selecting and seeding teams.

Hmm... So you are saying that North Texas should have been a tournament team... 04-high5

And, honestly, few people even pay attention to the NIT.

Did someone steal your cheerios?

Years from now when you see FAU (C-USA) on the list for the 2023 FINAL FOUR.....

There will NOT be an asterisk* saying--"OH-- by the way they went to the AAC the next season."

All I know is that the NCAA tourney credits FUA has earned with remain with the 5 remaining members of CUSA. The new CUSA has some good programs coming in and will only have to split up any future revenue only 10 ways instead of 12 or 14 ways.

FAU is now in the Final Four after beating Kansas State. I'm doubling down on this comment.
