At Purdue:
18 seasons
209-120 (.635 winning percentage) in Big Ten games
14 NCAAT bids
6 Sweet 16's

Last three years have been a complete mess in the NCAA Tournament and if he can't get over that it won't matter how many Big Ten regular season or tournament titles he wins. No one in Purdue or the Big Ten will or should accept first round losses every season. If you can't even beat a play in winner in the first round who can you beat? Now it's a mental block. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It's three times.

I guarantee you next season teams are going to be bribing the Selection Committee for the right to play Purdue in the 1st round.

As long as Merrimack doesn't beat UMass this fall......but I wouldn't be surprised if they do. 03-banghead

Perhaps Purdue should fire Painter and hire this genius Scoochpooch.

Even FDU's coach said after the game that Purdue would win 99 if they played 100 times. So I would give Merrimack less than that one percent chance, since FDU had a perfect game plan and worked it to perfection.

Finally somebody who's in reality.

The all time 16 vs 1 record is still 2-150.
