I understand country not being at the TOP of the list. As someone else mentioned, Christian is my top identity.

But without our form of government our lives, and those of people around the world, would be drastically different.

Make no mistake, I love this country and the freedoms it offers and wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. My initial post after the OP was in response to measuring Christian Nationalism to Liberalism. Any "ism" is flawed because it is based on a flawed people who sin/make mistakes. Jesus was none of that of course. If you start with him at the top of your life/priorities then everything else flows downward and outward from that apex. "One Nation Under God" I think speaks to that hierarchy quite well...

RE: Christian Nationalism to Overtake Liberalism
I remember someone when I was a kid telling a story about World War II soldiers shouting "For God, Country, our loved ones, each other, and ourselves!" before going into battle. (Or something similar.) I also remember finding out that somewhere on the campus of Notre Dame, there's a building that has this carved into it near the top of the tower: God, Country, Notre Dame.

What's funny? A lot of folks say that and try to destroy our nation. Get real. I don't need to state my allegiance to this country. Actions speak louder than words...

"If Conservatives become convinced that they can not win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism, they will abandon democracy."

But it's not like i'm surprised that the right put's everything else before country.

I think most of us actually put the things directly around us that impact our daily lives first. Country is not at the top of most peoples list of things they cherish if they take a moment of contemplation on the subject.

No argument here.07-coffee3
